I feel that this song is about stages of a relationship but expressed in an unusual way to make the song sound more dark and mysterious. For example the lyrics "I'm your wolf- I'm your man" seems like he is saying he will protect his partner as well and being their boyfriend.
The first verse of the song is the man first noticing the woman and trying to pursue her. However the next verse after the chorus changes. "Where've you been hiding? And can i come this time?" to me suggests that she has possibly cheated on him, but it could also show the obsessive side of him.
In the chorus it says "I say run little monster, before you know who i am" which shows that he is saying she should get away before she sees the real him. Possibly controlling? and possessive?
The lyrics "rip that heart off your sleeve" could mean that because of their relationship she will find it harder falling in love with someone else. She may now lack trust in relationships. Or it could be the other way round and he could be singing about how he feels like that because of what she has possibly done to him during their relationship.
